Wall tile Description

I have specified a hard slate and (http://maplered.com) honed and (http://maplered.com) filled travertine to go on the walls in commercial bar/restaurant bathrooms. A vendor has told my client that I have picked "odor absorptive" and (http://maplered.com) high maintenance tile. The floors have through body porcelain on them.

I would greatly appreciate an any informative info you could give me!
